The Laudato Si’ Festival 2025 brings together schools, youth clubs, and organizations to reflect, act, and inspire change in response to the climate crisis.

🌿 Festival Highlights

✅ Open-Air Green Mass – Unite in prayer for our common home, with performances from Laudato Si’ Club choir and liturgical dancers, prayers for victims of climate disasters, and a symbolic tree-blessing offertory.

✅ Laudato Si Walk, Tree Planting & Seedling Distribution – Promoting indigenous and fruit tree planting in schools and homes around Wanyange community.

✅ Innovating for Sustainable Agriculture – Expert talk by Joseph Male on practical solutions for sustainable farming and food security.

✅ Eco-Knowledge Market Booths – Interactive exhibits by Foresters HSE Consults, @John Paul II Justice and Peace Centre, @Avail Group, Fruits of Faith Farm and more.

✅ Youth-Led Eco Exhibitions – Showcasing student projects like smart water pumps, greenhouse farming, creative recycling, and climate storytelling: “What Is Happening to Our Common Home?”

Why it matters
This festival is part of our contribution to the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation 2025, echoing Pope Francis’ call to sow “seeds of peace and hope”. As climate anxiety grows, especially among youth, we are creating space for prayerful reflection, creative problem-solving, and intergenerational action—rooted in faith and justice.
