Holy Cross Lake View SSS Welcomes Form One and Form Five Parents

On a marvelous and glorious day, Holy Cross Lake View welcomed its newest family members – parents of Senior One and Senior Five students – to the school community. The orientation event was a resounding success, marked by smiles, laughter, and a sense of belonging to an amazing community.

The day began with a heartfelt prayer by Fr. Kajubi Henry Sentenza, C.S.C, Deputy Head Teacher Administration and Discipline, who invoked blessings upon the new parents and the school community praying for the successfulness of the day. The school’s esteemed students filled the room with joyful anthems, setting the tone for a wonderful day.

A counseling session, expertly led by Madam Cissy followed, focusing on the vital role parents play in their children’s educational journey. The interactive session encouraged open conversation between parents and educators, fostering a sense of collaboration and mutual support.

The Head Teacher Fr Prosper Atukwatse, C.S.C, addressed the audience, introducing the school’s dedicated educators and sharing the institution’s rich history and values. He highlighted the school’s excellent programs, emphasizing the commitment to providing a holistic education. The leadership team was introduced, and departmental heads engaged with parents, addressing queries and providing insights.

The event concluded with a closing prayer by the Head Teacher, Fr Prosper, C.S.C, seeking journey mercies for the parents as they departed for their homes. He invoked God’s protection, guidance, and blessings upon them, thanking Him for the opportunity to gather and share in the joy of welcoming new families to the Holy Cross Lake View Community.

As the day drew to a close, parents departed with smiles, equipped with valuable information and a sense of belonging to the Holy Cross Lake View family.

 

The success of this orientation event marked the beginning of a beautiful partnership between parents, teachers, and students, united in their pursuit of academic excellence and personal growth.
