Our faith informs everything we do at Holy Cross Lake View SSS Wanyange — from our classroom discussions to our student organizations to the way our athletes conduct themselves on the field and the court. Distinctively Catholic and open to all, we provide a wide range of opportunities for you to grow in your faith.

Liturgical life


Spiritual formation consists in devoting time to building and deepening a relationship with God through prayer and reflection. We teach students to know God through Biblical text, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Catholic Social principles, Catholic moral principles, and theology of salvation. We have faith clubs where student and patrons participate in spiritual exercise in every Tuesday at 4: 00 pm. Region of Mary, Our lady of Sorrows, Brother Andrew vocation, Scripture Union, YCS, Lectors, liturgical dances, good Samaritan, charismatic. etc. We have mass celebrations on Wednesdays at 5:00 Pm, Sundays mass at 8:00 Am and other obligated days designated by the church and the school.

School choir

We have a school choir called Angelic voices; however, each class has its own choir where they sing during weekdays and some Sundays.

Holy Cross week

The Holy Cross men who are working in school they take charge of all the school programs. Holy Cross Congregation talk- we invite Holy Cross number in the region. Prayer of the church- we pray together with students. Holy Cross Walk.

Retreats and recollections

We have recollections every beginning of the term for students and staff and retreats once a year in June.

Liturgy and Sacrament’s life

In this school the entire community benefits from different sacraments especially 5 Sacraments which are common. Sacrament of reconciliation daily who ever wishes, and official day is on Saturday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, Sacrament of Eucharist Wednesday and Sunday, Sacrament of the sick. This term 10 students, 2 children of workers and 2 workers received the sacrament of baptism and holy communion during the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ. We expect Bishop to visit us around October during our school. universally and he will confirm them. We have 36 Anglican students who will receive the sacrament of confirmation at John Wakitaka secondary school on October 8 the 2023.
