We Teach Minds, Touch Hearts and Transform Lives
Per Scientiam Ad Serviendum — Education for Service
On the hills of Wanyange, where the morning sun does rise,
Stands our noble Holy Cross, reaching for the skies.
With the Cross our only hope, and faith to guide our way,
We shall shine as beacons bright, come what may.
Holy Cross, Holy Cross, forever we shall stand,
Educating minds and hearts across this precious land.
Per Scientiam Ad Serviendum — this our solemn call,
We shall serve humanity, standing proud and tall!
In the classroom and the field, in the chapel and the hall,
We pursue the path of excellence, responding to God's call.
With our teachers and our guides, walking side by side,
In the Holy Cross family, we take humble pride.
From this hill we go to serve, to heal and to unite,
Carrying the Cross of Christ, as our guiding light.
Alma mater, dear and true, we shall never forget,
Holy Cross Lake View — our greatest treasure yet!
Holy Cross, Holy Cross, forever we shall stand,
Educating minds and hearts across this precious land.
Ave Crux, Spes Unica — this our solemn call,
We shall serve humanity, standing proud and tall!

The Holy Cross Lake View SSS Anthem is more than a song — it is a declaration of identity, faith, and purpose. Written to inspire every student and staff member, the anthem reflects the core values of the Congregation of Holy Cross: educating the mind, touching the heart, and transforming the soul.
The first verse celebrates our beautiful hilltop campus in Wanyange, Jinja — a place where learning is nurtured under God's watchful care. The reference to "The Cross our only hope" is drawn from the Holy Cross motto, "Ave Crux, Spes Unica" (Hail the Cross, Our Only Hope), reminding us that in all challenges, faith sustains us.
The chorus captures our school's mission: "Per Scientiam Ad Serviendum" (Education for Service). We are not educated merely for personal success, but to serve our communities, our nation, and humanity with humility and excellence.
Every morning during assembly, the entire school stands with hands on hearts to sing this anthem — a powerful moment of unity, pride, and prayer.
