Requirements to join us

Everything families need to know to apply to Holy Cross Lake View, from entry requirements to what to bring on reporting day.

Who can apply

Entry requirements

We welcome applications from boys and girls who are ready to work hard and grow in faith, knowledge and character.

O-Level entry

Senior One

For pupils who have completed Primary Seven.

• Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results
• Pass in the Holy Cross Lake View entrance examination
• Interview with the candidate and a parent or guardian
• Good conduct report from the primary school

A-Level entry

Senior Five

For students who have completed Senior Four.

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results
• Strong grades in the subjects needed for the chosen combination
• Pass in the entrance examination and interview
• Good conduct report from the previous school

Transfers

Other classes

Places in other classes are offered only when vacancies exist.

• Reports from the last two years of study
• Transfer or recommendation letter from the previous school
• Pass in a placement test and interview
• Contact the Admissions Office first to ask about vacancies

With your application

Documents to submit

1. Application form Completed online or on the printed form
2. Birth certificate A clear copy
3. Passport photographs Two recent passport-size photographs
4. Results slip PLE for Senior One, UCE for Senior Five
5. School reports Academic reports from the last two years
6. Recommendation letter From the head of the previous school
7. Medical form Completed and signed, issued with the admission letter
