Service Learning
Following the example of Blessed Basil Moreau, from the inception of the Congregation of Holy Cross, we have an obligation to help those in need. As a school community, Holy Cross Lake View SSS strives to provide this assistance to the less fortunate. This mission is imperative in our world today.
Service Learning allows students to become more aware of the world around them. Our students continue to grow and develop into culturally and socially aware individuals through their actions of helping others, both within and outside of our school community.
As a Holy Cross community, we need to inspire each other to ask the question "how can we help" instead of "how many hours can I get". This program has been established to engage the student in intellectual curiosity, civic engagement, compassionate service, and thoughtful reflection.

Food Drives
Collecting and distributing food to local families in need throughout the year.
Visitation Programs
Visiting the elderly, sick, and homebound in our local community.
Community Outreach
Partnering with local organizations to serve those in need in Jinja and beyond.
Environmental Stewardship
Caring for God's creation through campus clean-ups and sustainability initiatives.
Parish Ministry
Assisting with liturgical celebrations and parish events.
School Maintenance
Beautifying and maintaining our campus as an act of community stewardship.
